Our firm has defended doctors and hospitals across the state of Georgia against medical malpractice claims since 1947. In 2005, our firm was very involved in the passage of tort reform law in Georgia. We have a long and skilled history in handling medical malpractice claims.
We represent doctors across the state in Atlanta, Albany, Athens and many other cities. We represent several regional health systems, including Regional Health System in Tanner Health System in Carroll, Douglas, and Haralson Counties and West Georgia Health System in Troup County. We have represented several large physicians’ groups, including Papp Clinic in Newnan.
Although located outside of Atlanta, approximately one-third of our business presently exists in the greater Atlanta area, and one-third in the rest of Georgia. Furthermore, our location outside of Atlanta decreases our costs and makes our legal fees very competitive.
Attorneys David H. Tisinger, Richard G. Tisinger, Jr., a nurse consultant and two paralegals make up our defense team. In addition, we have two attorneys who devote themselves principally to the regulatory and business matters associated with the health care delivery system,
On average, our firm handles nearly 70 medical malpractice claims. Through the years, the firm has developed considerable expertise in the defense of these claims. Over the last ten years, we have tried over 30 significant cases resulting in defense verdicts.
